Look at that view. I wish the picture did the scene justice. It just doesn't capture the depth of the pink and blues. I think it comes from the cold. We had a high of 24 degrees today. I know that's nothing for some of you. But for out here in the Pacific Northwest that's pretty darn cold.
So we had a great Thanksgiving weekend that got topped off with about 4 inches of snow. The kids were super happy. Much sledding, snowball fights, and cocoa was had by all. Plus real snow cones flavored with maple syrup.
Here's one of my daughter. She just had to keep feeling the snow. Then ask me to put her glove back on :)
So I've been meaning to update for ages. Here's the news for those of you interested. I've gotten Flight back from the editor and am almost through the revision stage so I can send it back for a copy edit. At the moment the tentative release for Flight will be the end of January.
I have another project in the works, but it isn't under contract yet so I can't announce it quite yet. But keep your fingers crossed that I'll have some news to announce in the next couple of weeks.
Also, I have a short story called Opal and Crimson that is coming out in an anthology about assassins. This story is set in my Equilibrium universe with Silren the unicorn as the main character. As soon as they've worked the kinks out of the files I'll announce that it's out.
I'll work on being here more often. Maybe that's a good new years resolution? Hope you all have an awesome holiday season.
